I am grateful to the volunteers of the Toronto Bruce Trail Club for having given me the opportunity to hike along many trails of Southern Ontario. I have explored a lot of beautiful places outside of the city this way.
I worked in the fitness sector as an instructor and personal trainer for years. I left because my mental health had deteriorated: anxiety and depression had taken away all of my energy and I could no longer attend to daily responsibilities.
I am in the Masters Swim class at the Y of my hometown, and I have a Bronze Cross as a lifesaver. I can access the pool at the Y because of a community membership.
I would love to be more active in my life, but the medications I have to take to manage my mental health don’t allow me a lot of time or flexibility.
Hi, I am Sean. Through the years I created a strength training routine that works very well for me. I would like to share this routine with other people, especially youth who are in trouble, with the message “it’s within our reach to be healthy”, no matter what. It is possible to have a healthy diet on a budget, and work out and feel well.
